Toe nails

If anyone at my office just heard the conversation I had on the phone they would probably think I didn't know how to groom myself or thought it was weird that I wanted someone to cut my toenails. I just placed a call and asked what this shops hours were and how much they charged to clip toenails. However it was a pet boutique and I was inquiring about getting Sixers toe nails clipped not mine. But if I would have overheard that conversation I would have thought that was weird.

SAYING GOODBYE

Today is a sad day in OKC. Tonight will be the last night the Hornets will be playing basketball in OKC. We have had the team for 2 yrs since Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans. I remember that Monday watching in horror, shame and disgust that so many people were stranded on roof tops pleading for help. It's hard to believe it was as long ago as it was. It's hard to believe that happened in America. I thought we had it all together. We could weather any storm. I guess it proved we can't. We are vulnerable and weak. So was the system that was suppose to help these people. I remember them showing the dome where thousands of people were stranded and left hungry, thirsty and hot. I really hope they have a better system in place. But who knows. It looks like they might not because I just read an article about a $40m worth of FEMA food wasted. I hope they get it together.

I am glad we had the privilege to have the Hornets in our town for 2 seasons. Although I did not get to go to many games when I did it was a lot of fun. I had never experienced a professional basketball game before they came to town. There were so many people and you could truly feel the excitement in the air. I am glad we could host this team but more importantly I hope those that were hit by the hurricanes have found a permanent place to stay. I hope they never have to experience something like that again. I hope there lives are filled with joy and peace and they find comfort in GOD.

PUG HAIR

How do you fellow pug owners do it? I mean I have dog hair every where in my house. I have to vacuum several times a week, including my furniture. Is there a trick I a missing. Sixer isn't suppose to get on the furniture but sometimes he will jump up there and back down. Just by doing this it makes me have to vacuum the couch. How do you guys that let your pugs on the furniture keep it clean? Do you vacuum everyday? Am I missing something? HELP!!!!!!!
