PICTURES PICTURES PICTURES!!!!!!!!!

Here are some things we have been up to over the last couple of weeks. We are hooked on homemade pizza. It's so easy to make and so yummy!! We usually make it on the weekends but have leftovers. This is my pizza sausage, hamburger, and pepperoni.

This is my husbands pizza same meat as mine but he likes black olives and mushrooms on his.

I was going to make a sour cream angel food cake but I didn't have a bundt pan and it took too long to cook. So I found a chocolate cake recipe online and made the cream cheese frosting I was going to put on the angel food cake. This was moist and YUMMY!!! Chocolate cake is my fav.

My husband works for a Drs. office. One of the Docs we call DR. J gives us Hornets tickets so in return I sometimes make him a pan of brownies. So I tried to get creative and I put Dr. J on there with M&M's.

I thought Sixer was going to give me a kiss, instead he nibbled on my ear.

This is Monday night after I picked Sixer up from his neuter surgery. He was a little groggy that night but the next day he was back to himself.

This is my hubby (in the black shirt) he is training to put casts on. I went with him to work this past Saturday and he put a cast on me. That is the saw they use to take it off. I have never had a cast so when he got the saw out to take it off I started sweating a little. But he did great and it never even got close to my skin.

SURGERY

Keep Sixer in your prayers today. He is getting neutered. They are suppose to call me at 2pm and let me know how it went.

We had a really boring weekend. The only thing we did was go to my husbands job on Sat morning. He is traing to be a cast tech. So he put a cast on my arm. Then he had to cut it off. That is scary. I took pictures. I will have to post them tonight when I get home.

Update: The vet called and Sixer is doing fine. I will pick him up @ 5 after I get off of work. If anyone cares to share how the surgery went for there dog I would love to hear it. Or really how they acted afterwards. Thanks, Chandra

Shopping

I am not a big spender on clothes. I don't go clothes shopping much at all. I haven't bought anything in a really long time. I do like to look nice and dress nice I just keep my clothes for a really long time. I have sweaters I bought in 1997 in fact most of my sweaters are from back then. But I need some new clothes. Really bad. It's tough because we live pay check to pay check. We don't have any xtra money. I refuse to put stuff on credit cards because I can't pay it off in a reasonable amount of time. So I don't know what I am going to do. God will work something out.

It's suppose to be in the low 70's today. That is great. I am ready for Spring and Summer. Did you know daylight savings time has been moved from April to March 11? It will be daylight longer after I get off of work. Yeah!!

YUMMIE!!!!

On the weekends my husband likes to eat sweets so every weekend I make cookies. For him it is m&m and chocolate chip, for me its just chocolate chip cookies. Sixer always thinks he's going to get a taste but he never does. Poor boy chocolate is not good for you.

Pug owners I need your help. Right below Sixer's nose it is really pink almost like it is raw. He keeps eating snow and now he keeps licking and I am afraid it is raw and chapped. Has anyone had this problem before. I tried putting something on it but he just licks it off. This is what it looks like.

What a huge difference

My husband and I go to the gym in the a.m. before we go to work. There is a few people that go in the morning, not as much as after work but still a few. This past week I have really been noticing a difference between the men and the women. It has nothing to do with working out. It is about interactions. I have noticed that almost all of the men will say hi to each other every morning. Some have conversations with each other while they are working out but at the least they say hi. Women we hardly even acknowledge there are other women in the building. Isn't that crazy? I think so. I know I am shy and don't usually strike up a conversation but I try to say hi to the other women when making eye contact. Sometimes that's difficult because they ignore me. So it makes me not want to speak but I still say hi. Some women have there buddies there and they talk and work out. I would much rather say hi to the men working out because they say hi back and look at you in the face. Most of the men say hi to the women also and the women's reaction is a lot different when the men say hi to them. I guess it shouldn't surprise me but it does. Why do women act like that towards each other? And it's not just at the gym. Except for work it seems like that is how we are towards one another. Even women at church tend to do that. I pray that GOD helps me to be able to speak with my head up and not think those thoughts us women tend to think, why did she say hi to me, why is she wearing that, I can't believe she wore her hair like that all of those things are not important in life. We should learn to enjoy life more. It would make for such a better world.
