SIXER IS NOT SLEEPING

Sixer is waking up at 11:30 or 12 at night and not wanting to go back to sleep. We get up at 4 a.m. This is not good. Does anyone know if we have him neutered will that change his sleeping/calmness? He is hyper all the time right now. He is 8 months old. I need some advice. My vets office is not very helpful.

Thanks for visiting our blog! Sixer is so cute--I love seeing pictures of other pugs. They are such a great breed! Unfortunately I have no advice on Sixer's sleeping problem but I hope for your sake that it is solved soon! I will be back to visit!

He should calm down if you get him neutered but... he's still a pup. He will be hyper and there's not much you can change about that. If he gets enough exercise - that helps some but pups are still hyper. Mine was hyper until she was about 4 and she was spade!!! My cousin's is still a spit fire and she's 7!!! Alot has to do with the breed too... Sorry it's not more positive. He might be sleeping to much during the day while you're at work and then when you get home - he's waking up for his day!!
